Lol right?!?! $500+ for a VG Steel...crazy stuff. I don't think i'll ever be able to justify even half of that for any VG Steel...and I own a large majority of all the G1 VG Steels.

Good thing I don't collect G2s, cause for the price of the ME1, I could be halfway through a G2 collection already!

Well, I mean, it's all a moot point if someone can afford it and it's worth that much to them...more power to them I say.

But for me...I collect all the G1 video game Steels because i love the variety and awesome designs...and i'm a big video game nerd/junkie! I don't do G2 because i am a PC gamer and again, there are far more exclusives and rares with G1/

That said, even I have a limit on price...even though i have a lot of rares in my collection, a lot of it was due to making friends willing to help out with good deals, rather than spending crazy amounts of money for Steels. With close to 100 G1 VG Steels, I can safely say that 95% of it is in perfect condition (there are a few, like 5-6 of the older titles that may have a VERY minor ding here or there, but they're so hard to find now that I was okay with them not being perfect), and I didn't have to break my wallet for any of them, even for the rare ones. :thumb:

Hey, well if you like G1 steels, that's what you like! Just like if I was a diehard Mirror's Edge fan, I'd jump all over something like this.

I just don't have a lot of cash to throw around, so I'm selective with what I go for. The stuff I sell for profit goes into the few things that I enjoy collecting; that's basically my only "for fun" funds. :lol:

Another one? Wow. Going to sit back and grab some popcorn to see what absurd price this gets sold for. People are very brave with eBay sales...you can never tell when people bid just to artificially inflate the price, which is the reason I stay away from eBay with things like this.

SSX definately YES, Its not available online and the only one I did find went for 120 euros. Its also, IMO a nice looking steel.
People already prepared to pay very good money for it. I reckon this just might be the next big steel in terms of price.

Dead Rising - NO. Far too many copies for a steel that is not that pretty.

Deus EX - YES! - getting more difficult to locate on ebay.

I think gu8 meant Dead Island, not Dead Rising...in which case yes, Dead Island will be absurd in rarity/price in a year or two. SSX for sure as well.

Fun tip about SSX Steelbook:

It is so far the ONLY video game Steelbook ever made that uses a WHITE-PLASTIC component for its spine, as opposed to the CLEAR-PLASTIC component for the spine of every other video game Steelbook out there. :bananayes:
