just seen this before - looking sweet and i do need it - the only thing i'd really like it to include is the soundtrack...

I just hoped for more... far more; all we get is:
1.) An "Exclusive Making of DVD", which is absolutely obligatory.
2.) An art book, which seems to be as much of an "book" as the "art books" we got with e.g. the Gears of War (Xbox 360) Ltd. C.E., the Far Cry 2 (PC) Collector Pack, the Saints Row 2 (Xbox 360) C.E. Gun Pack and a billion other C.E., after the Bioshock 2 (PS) Special Edt., the The Witcher 2: Assassin's of Kings (PC) C.E. or the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC) C.E. have shown the industrie how to make it right...
3.) DLC...

What we don't get is a soundtrack-CD, which should be mandatory for any C.E.. We don't get a special packaging either, after the polish Call of Juarez: The Cartel (PC) Edycja Kolekcjonerska already had shown us, that it is possible to deliver a game in a decent looking suitcase (wich would have been perfectly fitting for Hitman: Absolution). At last we don't get anything special in this edition, something more or less creative, like a 1:1 AMT Hardballer-firelighter or a fitting prop from the game... *sighs*

i basically compare every CE to The Witcher 2 CE or the Halo Reach LE - those were and still are some of the CE's out there - at least what i'd regard as really top notch worth-your-money ones...

There was a Collector's Edition of Hitman: Blood Money for the PC released as a "digipak" at least in Germany and the UK, too; you can see the last one in my collection:

Square Enix doesn't care about USA. That's why w/ Deus Ex CE, the USA got a simple slip case w/ artbook and the whole PAL region got that awesome limited numbered edition w/ the Play Arts figurine. Mostly (not all I know) the only awesome stuff they make in editions for USA is for games like Halo, Gears of War or Call of Duty. Pathetic and sad.

But I'm hopeful! Either way I'm getting whatever biggest edition exists for Absolution. It's fuckin' Hitman we're talking about here, for God sake guys...HITMAN!

Well... yeah... but there are different levels of fun IMHO

A game is fun to play because you're having a great time/you laugh/enjoy it/It's interesting/etc.

That figure is out of context, an unnecessary representation of the protagonist. I see that figure and I think the game is about a happy killer, candies, love and balloons.

I have also taken some comparison pics of the NTSC and EU Professional Editions. :D Mainly for those who care. XD When I saw the unboxing video for the NTSC version I was dying to get one and now I have one thanks to a great member here! ^o^ Thank you mate! :D

First off the outer box, which doesn't look any different from the front, but in hand it is slightly thicker and significantly heavier. Also the rear of the box is different too. :D

The NTSC one is also different on the back.

The NTSC copy of the Professional Edition come with a nice box inside a slipcase. Then the digipak slides out of the side of the box like a boxset DVD would.

As you can see there are some differences with each CE. The main one would be the art book. Each version of the professional edition comes with it's own artbook, but te artbooks are different for both regions. Here's a pic of the 2:

I have also taken a pic of pages in the artbooks to show they are different. Both were on page 33 and as you can see, they're different!

Aswell as the artbooks being different, the manuals are different too. The Pal version got a book, even though it was small it was still a book of sorts. The NTSC version literally came with a flier! lol Pal on the left open on the first page, NTSC on the right open.

One more thing that you might have noticed is that the disk arts are different too. Another thing which wasn't photographed was that the NTSC copy didn't have a code in for the Contracts online mode. Whether that is just my copy is missing it, I don't know. lol

I know the images aren't great, but it's the least I can do since I lost my camera. >.< Phone photos should be fine! :P

Personally I think the NTSC version is heaps better than the PAL one. I'm sure everybody else will agree with me. :D

Just thought people would like to see a comparison since I was on about wanting a NTSC CE for a while now! XD

Thanks! :D Yeah anybody who has enjoyed this game or just fans of hitman generally should definitely acquire a NTSC Professional edition. If that Professional Ed came inside the Deluxe CE, that would have been an awesome CE for me! :D

Dang! I saw the first couple of pictures and thought 'I prefer the PAL edition'... Then I saw the next picture where that outer sleeve comes off... That is a REALLY nice edition, definitely a lot nicer than the PAL version... Very nice packaging all round!

Yeah very nice packaging! :D Anything that isn't a standard game case is a plus in my book! :D

Also, another plus point is that the bonus DVD and the game from the NTSC copy are region free! :D
