Does anyone have or know of any validity that people on ebay now have 2 Russian version of the Mass Effect steelbook, which is claiming to be a licensed steelbook compared to the CE Mass Effect which is just a tin? Is it worth it?

thesirren (http://collectorsedition.org/forums/member.php?u=981) was selling a few of them. Pretty rare things I think.

Thanks Gazereths. I guess I should be happy just wishing to have the CE Mass Effect steel books and the collection steel book to hold them all, I just seen the pictures and if I ever won the lottery it would be on my top 10 , #1 would be the Cerberus Rare Box with Mass Effect 2 both CE formats and the signed stuff I seen it for 5,000 on ebay, yeeks

Nice Oscar, why Russian get those Goodies :) Well I remember when i was a kid I was always mad that japanese versions of albums had extra tracks, and I was like that sucks without paying big money for it.
i think the steel that is bottom left looks the best, wow, if only i could get that one, and it looks like it was packed perfectly by whoever sent it
lol

I agree as well, also noticing the woman in that version is holding that biotech arm as well as Shephard, instead of the other one focusing on her front
i sent him the steelbook wolf, its from the uk version of me3 collectors edition, i have more too, if thats your bag :beach:

Yeah, I wanted one of those Russian Steelbooks. I wasn't going to line peoples pockets though when they only paid a fraction of the price they were charging for them on here... :S
Thought this was a sharing, caring community! :P

Thought this was a sharing, caring community! :PAre you still referring to the deal with thesirren? Man, if he said he had to pay 80$ for each one, why doubt him? He explained at length (and others confirmed it) that all the Russian sites that had those ME 1 steels for sale, in fact either a) did not or b) if they did, they were likely damaged and not well cared for. I've been dealing with Sirren now for many months and he's been one of the most trustworthy, helpful and dependable members here. I didn't mind giving him some extra money up from the 80 he paid, because he had to work very hard to find those mint* copies. He traveled long distances and called tons of local shops. He shipped me a PERFECTLY mint ME 1 Russian steelbook, sealed. I was extremely happy. I know most US collectors are not going to have this, let alone even know it exists.
This is THE most sharing and caring community I have EVER been part of. I have been astonished by the generosity, kindness and help everyone here has freely given to others, even new, inexperienced members.

My buddy here is 100% correct and just to prove it, he's going to help his old buddy, Zubair out and post a picture of the actual ME1 steelbook, back and front ;)... Please?! haha

Only have front picture sorry. Should be good enough. It's VERY VERY Mint as well, thanks to thesirren's hard work finding a mint copy. Even the seal is near flawless. This could easily be graded in the high 90's by VGA.
