But thinking about all the other Sega steelbook releases that weren't pre-order bonus., I think they were G2 for PS3.

Yeah I pre-ordered when it was £30 though. If you don't want the game, would be wise to trade in or sell on at release as it will most likely be in bargain bins before long. You could always pick it up cheap later on to fill the steel! :D

No the offer will carry one after launch but that is dependant of stock.

Demand for it is very low, it's not even in the top 100 all format pre-orders.

OK there is 1 months before launch so I would say if in stock Mid June then expect stock to there for a while.

yeah, depends how many steels they produced. If 4000 then they won't last long. Plenty of steelbook collectors around the world. I'm not sure if this item can be shipped abroad or not?? That will play a factor too...



I imagine it will be a short print run as they seem to be the only Stockist, as they where with the Mario and Sonic 2012 Olympics Wii game with the free money tin.

I would guess that they would have a low print run of the SteelBooks as they most likely realise that demand for the game will be low, based on sales of previous olympics video games. I'd imagine they'd meet the 4,000 minimum run, and not overproduce them.

It's a nice SteelBook though, but not nice enough that I would want to pay nearly £40 for an unwanted sports game...

Mh, ja die österr. Post lässts gern langsamer angehn :D Und nein, das AC is auch noch nicht da. Ich schätz mal Prototype lässt so lange auf sich warten, da es in Ö nur mehr ganz wenige Postämter gibt und man jetzt meistens bei Apotheken, Tankstellen etc aufgubt und die warten meistens ein paar Tage bis sie mehrere Pakete haben und schicken erst dann an die Zentrale.

did you get the amazon £29 pre-order, you would have no probs breaking even and getting the steelbook ass theyhave put the price up to £39 now

shipping costs are 8€ if i sent it as a letter (in those brown papers with bubble wrap inside) or 13€ as a package + 5€ for the steelbook (preorder costs). I will check it again on Monday cause the Austrian post website is not reliable in terms of what shipping really costs.

For those who care, the steelbook is G1 only and doesn't come sealed. It comes in a plain white slipcase and is then shrink wrapped with a standard edition of the game, like how the Mirror's Edge steelbook came. PS3 game and steelbook was shrink wrapped and the Xbox 360 version had a cellophane wrap around the game and steelbook.

I never got round to taking pics, was in rush to get round to the post office! lol

I went to GAME, GameStation and CEX to check the price for the games, they are all selling the game new for £35.

I asked how much the game is for cash and exchange, it was around £15 cash and up to £20 exchange, even though it was still sealed. :/

Stick it up on ebay. I sold mine for £28 BIN on ebay. Unfortunately trade-in prices for this game are crap! >.<

I just wanted to shift it quick! lol Works out that I paid £6 for the steelbook, so I can't moan. lol You could prob put it up for £30 and it still sell as it's cheaper than RRP. lol
