Hi Guys,

My name is Alec, I'm from Belgium and i'm a long time lurker on CE.org but never took time to register me on the board...

Anyways, I just finished my new game room and wanted to share my collection with you guys.

Regarding Collectors Edition, I mainly focus on X360. But I also collect other stuff like statues, retro NES, vintage action figs...

A pic of my X360 CE & LE's:

Ah dayum, those classic Thundercats figures. So cool!

I like your shelves for the PS2/360 games. Where can these be purchased? Do they sell in different heights?

And clearly, you are ballin' if you own all those Sideshow toys...Ryu, Ken, Mummra, Lion-O.....they're like £250 a pop...good lord.

Thx guys!

Regarding the glass shelves for my PS2/X360 games, I bought them in a local Belgian store. They sold them in various heights. Not sure if they're selling them outside BE though.

About the Street Fighter statues, i'm so glad I was able to buy most at retail prices. You have to check the price for a Ryu & Akuma on ebay... Your Jaw will drop :)

Welcome to the forum

As with everyone else, the shelves and presentation are great.

So were they £250 each retail prices or that's the value now?

Please provide ebay links so I can drop my jaw lol.

They look really good! Zangief looks impressive because of the size and detail, I'm sure the rest look just as impressive. More close-up of each of those please!!!!!!

Lucky for me I wasn't a big fan of the character's faces on most of that range. Wouldn't say no if someone gave them away though!

At a distance these look great. I was going to purchase the whole range of Play Arts Kai (Super) Street Fighter 4 figurines from Square Enix shop but think they look pale compared to yours. :/

Ryu & Akuma retails price was 250 USD. (they were the first of the series)
Now they are being sold for 1000-1250 USD a piece, which is really crazy!

The Zangief I have, is signed by the Sculptor. There should be only 5 (signed) versions accross the world.

I have a horrible photo camera at the moment, as soon as I have a better one, I'll take close-ups :)

Never seen them in real life.
I do like most of the Play Arts stuff though...

If you want smaller SF figures I would recommend either SOTA or RESAURUS. Both series are out of print, so it will take some time to complete them. But the detail is pretty good.

Welcome aboard, great collection & as stated the way they should be shown!

Is that shotgun real? (get your hands off my collection) :haha:

Black looks so much better gives a more professional look.

Hope you keep kids away :whew:

hehe, unfortunately, it is not real :)
Although it's a 1/1 prop replica.

Kids are almost on the way... still negotiating with the wife how to postpone the inevitable :D

Have to kind of disagree about the SOTA figures. Maybe my taste has changed but though the figures had decent articulation, again, most suffered from bad face scultps. I think maybe Bison, T.Hawk and Gen were the better moulds, the rest had not so good facial sculpts. It's one of the real killers for me especially with Ryu (favourite character 'n all). I managed to get series 1 and 2, though just because they're SF figures.

The best SF figure/statue (or the like) to me so far has got to be the Anniversary LED light version of Ryu. I think it's based on Shinkiro art so that probably helps.

The Resaurus figures were cool though. I forget what colour variants I have of them. Their mini Puzzle Fighter figures were nice, too!

Generally speaking, when it comes to SF figures I find most to be underwhelming. The new Play Arts line are no better (and I LOVE Play Arts usually).

Another excellent SF model:

Picky about SF? You got that right...

I think it is good to be picky, so you recommend that I avoid the Play Arts for Street Fighter? I must say, they do look rather ugly but didn't realise there were so many different places I could get them.

Generally Play-Arts figures look decent (posing can be troublesome though) but I feel for SF they just didn't do them right. Almost everything else they've done FF, GoW, Halo, MGS have looked very nice but I think the SF series is perhaps their ugliest release yet. I guess the trouble may have been the fact there are so many official representations of SF characters finding one good base to work from was unfair.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind them but when it becomes a case of involving SF and comparing to their other lines then yeah, one can't help but feel slightly disappointed.

They looked so ugly I couldn't part with the money, especially if I compared them to FF as that's the only figures I own. Otherwise I would have got them all by now along with my next order of FF stuff like the whole Dissidia range. :)

I would PM you but I don't have any space - I'll need to donate soon! Looks like you would need to as well because PMs are limited to 30.

Probably well well looked after.

My local Blockbuster has copies for MW2 Ltd Ed x2 & over the days they both got wrecked the books went missing the tin got dents in & the plastic cover split

Then they had a few copies of Dark Souls Ltd Ed both were good as new at the start but too much £ each, they suffered the same fate, why not put a std box out with a note on the top saying Ltd Ed :surrender:

I did buy/save! the collectors Ed of Enslaved which comes with the book & Soundtrack good as new part of the 2 for £20 offer.

Hence my comments about looking after games.
