If you actually look a pic right on the bottom line of little pictures you can see the last one is patchers so I wouldn't complain until you 100% know what it's coming with.

Ok, so it wasn't part of a dvd CE, not exactly the same but pretty similar, you can get a 20" Sideshow Collectible statue diorama for about three times the cost of this CE.
So this CE is the scaled down cheaper material version that's more affordable and comes with the game ;)

I saw on EB facebook someone actually went to the store and asked but the staff was being rude to him and said such a thing doesn't exist lol.

I'm way less interested in this edition and i think i will just waste money by buying this at the release, not worth it imo, the figurine is quite small and except for that it doesn't contain extremely much.

DVD box is 19cm to be correct, and the figure seems to be smaller than that(it also has a base so it makes it look bigger), i won't call from wat i can see from the picture the quality that great either.

Compared to the most figures i got, it's rather small for such a figure, could be me though. ;)

Hi Sylfaris,

I haven't looked into this game much (I do have it on pre-order as I am a massive fan of the Alien franchise... well some of it ;)) so haven't seen the new alien types, however if you look at Alien VS Predator Extinction which was an RTS style game on consoles, the classes sounded stupid but actually worked surprisingly well in game.

With the style of Alien, in that the creature takes on attributes of it's host, it's one of the few franchises that works with unique types of the Alien... However I will admit that they may feel disjointed seeing as we're revisiting LV-426 for the third time (after Alien and Aliens) without having seen these in the past.

Bah, this game is reviewing terribly everywhere :(. I have been eagerly awaiting this release since Sega first announced they were producing 3 new Alien franchised games some 5 years ago or so. What a shame :(. I don't normally care about reviews (especially since the last AvP game reviewed poorly as well, but I still enjoyed it) but the universal distaste for this game doesn't sound promising.

Also, apparently now some devs from Gearbox are saying this game was mostly outsourced, and Gearbox only worked on the multiplayer aspect of the game. played the 4 player coop yesterday with some mates .... my advise buy this game for statue .... not more.

The Game is a joke, bad Ai, bad textures, bad story (essentials part were missing in the coop sth like: (for not spoiling this is just invented) broken landing ship trys to land (no cutscene) you start with your marine in the base on the planet without knowing what happend.

This might be a host problem but duno if it's real it sux like hell. But also the host said "Whoot why are we here now? Hello? Story? Can you hear me? ~ Hear me ~ Hear me ~ ...... *echo*"

Aliens appears to be the Duke Nukem of 2013... best comparison I can see! :)

Ideally they should name it 'Prometheus: The Game' that way people at least would have expected it to be terrible!

From everything I have read, the game comes at you in 2 ways... 1. you are faced with awful gameplay, technical, story, graphical and other issues... but 2. you're also presented with nice nods and easter eggs to the franchise.

As a big fan of most of the films overall, I think I'll get some kicks out of the campaign extras, but outside of that I'll have an average shooter experience.

I played the first ten minutes of this not too sure what I think though. I'm trying to develop a positive attitude though so far I don't feel that symbosis you get when your getting immersed into a game. Of course going round the locations might be a great idea if the graphics weren't so last gen or even the gen before that or is that just me ?
