Having found this forum and worked out what a great place it is I wanted to say hello and please be patient as I am still finding my way about...

I'm a wannabe Assassini who used to spend way too many hours playing until stupid O'clock in the morning and now spend way too many hours steelbook hunting...

My first steelbook was Bad Company Gold and it's been a growing obsession since... Mostly collecting G2s but have ended up adding G1s since my 60GB PS3 bit the dust earlier this year :( and switched back to xbox again (my former spiritual home) temporarily and now got both again!! :bananayes:

Final Fantasy anything floats my boat, Uncharted and, of course, the superb Assassin's Creed. Impatiently awaiting my freedom edition (and a couple to send on to collector friends in Mexico and US!) Can't wait to see the postie that day!! :lmao:

nice collection!..I don't own and xbox but i went ahead and bought forza 4 collectors edition because i liked the car and packaging :D...plus in the US..it is actually very very difficult to come by out in the wild in new condition..so i am glad to have it..even though i don't own a 360.

I was nore thinking some custom games (sniper and pistole, sas 12 mag5 etc). The problem is I'm really inconsistent, sometimes I play amazingly sometimes I'm a bit shit. My sniping is getting alot better though.

Only one company for the white tshort from el cazador in UK and it was a games charity

And they only had 10 or so rest in UK are from UBisoft UK base

It was in CZ as preorder gift and game distributor gave it in lot competitions. Also gave one for my competition with some other stuff, so it wasnt so rare here

Thanks Ingmar - it was where i started - the ce were limited to start with so i'm way behind on those...

The one with the bullet holes is splinter cell conviction from us ce and Xbox only. The 17 one is a Jari Kurri steelbook released with NHL 13 exclusive to Finland - it was two steels with one game :thumb:

Thanks Swifty! In some ways my favourite too as some of those took the longest to find and get and a couple were great deals worth holding out for :banana: you're right about Finland - see above

And there are two G1 s and 2 G2 s for moh and don't think a lot of people realise as one is so easy to find and low price but the other a lot rarer :)

Also, a few pages back you've got a very dark/shaded book that looks like a Battlefield 3 Strategy Guide or something but it has embossed letters on it? What is that? :)

Yeah! That's the one! Okay, I just got (or will be getting in the mail shortly) my BF3 Hardcover Guide and then I saw that and was like, "Woah! I didn't get the best one" - but that explains it. Thanks! I didn't even know such a thing as metal-art existed for games :shrug:<--noob Is that something the developers do as a promo item? Or a 3rd party that releases them for various games? Or something you have personally commissioned? Inquiring minds would like to know :)

I loved her piece for the Tomb Raider comp and have really enjoyed browsing her work online

The expressions she captures is incredible - I love the cleaner for that reason - but also love the incredible colours and vibrancy of Airplanes :)
