I just got word from someone I know who works at Future Shop that they are way short on the amount needed to cover preorders. They have been told to offer anyone who preordered a $10 discount off a future release instead of a steelbook. Looks like these are going to be hard to come by.

And yet the store close to my place received 25 copies of the steel and only 5 pre-orders. So basically if I want 10 I can have them :)

My buddy works in a store in BC, they have almost 200 preorders and only got 105 steelbooks. But he also told me that Future Shop is ordering another run of steels, due in 4 to 5 weeks. So I can see there being lots of them in another month or so.

It wont be rare, non steelbook collectors will have there copy on ebay like always and it wouldn't surprise me if they did order a 2nd run, most Futureshop steelbook's are available way after release even though they are apparently pre-order bonuses. :think:

i saw a lot of zelda futureshop ones for resale and even heard or seen some people in canada even pick them up as of late in the store..even though during release there was a mini crises about not being enough to go around..it makes sense..ordering a second batch..if futureshop is confident they can sell a lot more games that way..they'd keep ordering a bunch.
