It's a must get for me. Thankfully it's not until September so plenty of time to save up for both formats and maybe a third to display that Ryu statue. It's a shame not every game could be included but what a nightmare that would be to financially make possible.

Does the Capcom store ship internationally? May not even be shipped outside of US from Amazon, either. I'll figure it out either way.

Also, I imagine the statue to be made available separately, or perhaps a non-light up version to be made separately similar to a different Ryu statue already out.

even if it is only 10.000 that's quite a lot....The Mortal Kombat Tournament edition was limited to 20.000 and can still be purchased at release price or even less, so not sure about this one :/ If it is over 10k I will probably not get it for that price, Fighting games tend to loose their value.

Totally different beasts anyway, one is a massive anniversary edition and the other is just an edition with a stick included.

Anyway, there's a very large market for the SF in the US, and therefore, chances of that exact edition being released in the PAL territories is a big fat donut! :quote:

Right, it came without a certificate but when it was announced they said that it will be limited to 20.000 in north America only.

The large run doesn't bother me, really. SF for life 'n all that....though I kinda hope xTekken wouldn't have been part of it because it just isn't that good (yet). For all the hate and frustrations I have with SFIV, my gosh I feel so apologetic after witnessing the messy xTekken. Anyway, I digress...SF for life!

If this is 30,000 I really don't see much point in panic buying to import it over here. That's too big a number and one that could quite possibly see a price drop post release.

yeah, a confirmation of the exact numbers would be good to know. I rarely see any numbered/limited editions at the Capcom store that has well over 1000 units sell out prior to release and after. We'll probably be able to grab this on sale at some point :)

The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set is packed with content, only a little of which is a belt. Today, at Comic-Con, Capcom revealed even more stuff for the PS3 version, and since it's digital it doesn't take any more room in the box.

In addition to the games and materials already announced, the PS3 version includes downloads for the PSOne Classics versions of all three Street Fighter Alphas, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max on PSP, the DLC for Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike Online, and 175 PSN avatars. Why not?
