What's your favourite steelbook and why ??

Okay all you steelie freaks. Take a look at your collections and tell me what is your very favourite.

Can be game or film.

My own particular favourites are Perfect Dark Zero for the 360, Arkham City Catwoman for PS3 and the Blu-ray for the Captain America film.

All of those preferences purely based on the artwork.

I've a feeling that the upcoming AC III Freedom steelie will be joining that list shortly :clap:

I don't think Perfect Dark Zero is an actual steelbook, it's the same as the Halo 2 steel case thing.

My favourite at the minute is probably Dishonored (German preorder steelbook) xx

Yeah, you're right vhal. Just had a closer look at it and it's not a proprietary steelbook.

In which case I amend my 360 selection to Soul Calibur IV (which, on second thoughts, i like better anyway :lmao:)

I'd like to add that some of the new additions are simply stunning.

Darksiders 2, Borderlands 2, Dishonored! :drool:

The ugly duckling would be Jari Kurri steel simply cos having an ugly man's face plastered on the front is not too sexy :lmao:

That's for NHL 13. Finland got a Jari Kurri Edition with the steelbook.

It's hard to pick a specific favourite, but of the recent ones I have picked up, I have to say I love the Metroid Prime Trilogy steelbook! ^o^
