I wouldn't be surprised if the reverse is the same as front with the remaining playable characters or perhaps just the most noteworthy characters.

Not sure if the number of playable characters has been confirmed yet but it's definitely more than 11.

Infamous's Cole is not on that front cover and he's rather noteworthy IMO

Well Ive been waiting to see a pic in hand of it on the net, but no such luck so far, so I`ll add my own... (wonder if it was only me who ordered one :P)

And first thing is blindingly obvious... It aint white... Its just plain reflective silver, doesnt appear to be coated at all.

So for the collectors/curious out there, its a bit of a strange one this, that Amazon havent helped clear up at all.

The steelbook actually comes separate to a full retail copy of PS all stars, however they are both bound together in an additional cellophane wrapping. as so-

So theres no plastic sleeve like most of Sonys other steelbook releases (like Killzone 3 or LBP2 for instance) and the retail copy of Allstars comes with its additional Sony seal INSIDE the double wrapping.....

The big pity for this is the back cover. Its identical to the front minus the PS3 logos. I thought it would have artwork of the other fighters to the rear or maybe a whole grid of 20 of them, but no such luck. It really is a shame, just a touch more effort could have really made this stand out

However, it does have a slight redeeming feature, one I feared it actually wouldnt have, and that is interior art. With amazon being all vague about it I expected it to be blank, especially since it arrived as having just a plain metal sheen on the outside, but lo and behold, the interior has artwork, and I think its kinda funky :D

So yeah with Amazon lacking any real info I thought I would leave my thoughts and a few pics here. Overall I like it, just wish there was more to the rear cover than a mirror of the front.

thanks for sharing dude..i bet it will have a cult following down the road with steelbook collectors...it will probably end up being somewhat rare, since it is the only steelbook for this game..and only 1 retailer has it, and only in 1 country..so do hold on to it..and watch it become sought after down the road.

@V It normally takes about two weeks to ship stuff from amazon.uk with standard shipping...to Aus anyway.

Nope, because they suck. XD I think it would have looked nice if they would have collaged all the characters on it. XD

Hummmmpppp...I find it strange what UK Amazon lets ship outside UK/EU. Most standard games will now ship to Aus but not every type. I don't know about the rest of the worlds, but it's much better than not. Perhaps they've realised they're losing potential customers?!?

lol amazon, i got a huge box from them (compared to the steelbook, box was as big as maybe uncharted explorer edition), in that box was another box. And in that box was the steelbook.
