Uncharted 3 limited edition controller

Just picked up one of these on eBay for ?60 which I think is a steal. They seem to be very difficult to find as they were limited to Asia only. I will take some pictures once I receive it. I would like the Take of Xillia 2 one but the $399 price tag is a bit too much.

I have it as well, wasnt expensive at all at release. Its not really to hard to find (maybe now a little more). Still wanting the Final Fantasy XIII controller, but that one seems impossible to find.

They weren't cheap even around the release, i picked this up for about 80 GBP shipped to the UK, but it was Brand New with the Steelbook.

The cheapest i recall them being was around the 60 GBP mark on ebay for the steelbook version. That ebay one is a bit of a ripoff though since its used and the Japanese version so no steelbook.

Good deal if yours had the steelbook :)

It states that there are only 4000 controllers available worldwide so it is pretty limited.

Same sellers on both pages obviously but thought it might be helpful regardless.

Also prices are lower than ebay and for sealed ones. :D

I may have a lead for the steelbook bundle though and I think there might be an extra but I'm waiting on a response. Price may be even more reasonable

I honestly think that no one can find that Amazon page, otherwise I would think there would be less being sold (I.E. for something limited to 4000, there still seems to be quite a few left for sale)

In fact every amazon and ebay.com/co.uk listing is the japan version, hmm steelbook one does seem rarer, maybe digging around other sites might come up with something.

I wouldn't trust myself with it. I drop controllers a lot or knock them off chairs etc. I've never thrown a controller in 12 years of gaming though.

I really thought Japan only got the controller bundle with a standard cover of the game?! I haven't found evidence to show otherwise.

I have the Asia edition with the steelbook, though I got it a bit later after release, the price wasn't too much more than the original cheaper price.

Correct Japan did only get the Standard edition of the game inside.

i remember on these very boards..when these controllers were released..everybody was like go for the japan version...and bemoaned the idea of "settleing" for the asian version..saying the japan version was more holistic more organic more desirable in some ways..and asian version would not be in as much demand as the japanese packaging..lol..oh the irony of it all.

lol i don't recall that, it was clear very early on that the only difference was that one had a steelbook and one didn't.
