I wanted to know if there are enough members of collectorsedition.org who are intrested in founding a special steelbook collectors group.
The reason why I was thinking about it, is because it would be much easier for every videogamesteelbookcollector to find steelbooks who she/he is searching for if we have a special group for it.
To become a member of this special group I was thinking about that she or he have to agree with these rules:
To be a member you must have more then 3 positive reviews,
To be a member you must accept the idea about trading steelbooks and selling them without making profit ( that means selling them just for a total price you have bought the steelbook including shipping costs + paypal fee + maybe 10 - 15% maximum little extra costs like money for gasoline + packaging material)
To be a member you must be game about helping each other about getting steelbooks from the country where you live.
Everyone who wants to be member is writting an introduction post with her/his username, country, which steelbook she/he is searching for and which steelbook she/ he can offer and in which condition the steelbooks are and which steelbooks she or he is able to get (if she or he has doubts about getting the steelbook then she or he should write "maybe" behind the steelbook).
What do you think about it?

We already have this, for canada, UK, germany, poland and australia. (I personally don't know any french member selling at cost)

we used to have 1 gamestop employee who used to post on here somewhat on a frequent basis..from time to time he used to offer pre-order gamestop bonuses on the cheap..sometimes even for free...whatever happened to that guy :(.?..loved the idea of having someone who had the hook up at gamestop was eager to help.

I'm already helping people with forwarding from the UK. :D Not just steelbooks. The only thing I hope to gain from this is that people are prepared to help me with forwarding in the future! ^^ Have already had help from people here with stuff so am more than happy to return the favour! ^^

More than happy to hook up on this. I don't mind selling for some profit elsewhere but I've always seen this forum as a place to work out fair trades or sell at cost :)
Prefer trading to be honest - money gets ugly and sometimes hard to work out fair prices
Count me in!! :)

What would be cool would be a ce.org headquarters that worked like a giant store/storage shed, that way if people had spare steels or ce's to get rid of they send/give/sell them to hq and people that need those can look at the hq shop/trade center thingy. Would help keep the site going and eventually ce.org itself could be a collector.. End ramble
This would also add into the whats the value section as the hq would have a price list for what each thing is worth

We have a marketplace for it.

Yea but its not a physical place that i can fly to and visit if i wanted to see the total contributions of the sites collective population and buy a shirt.. Its would also be more efficient to have a team procuring items and setting a fair value to said items.. Most of my ideas are silly i just think it would be cool

Well, a building cost 100s of dollars to build and maintain lol And you have to compete against all the retailers/amazon/ebay.
The forum is getting bigger everyday and it acts as a nice proxy between collectors.

To bad that in poland we almost dont have any steels...
But will be happy to get some from u guys, if they wont be too expensiv.
To bad that many cheap steels cost my entire day payment - but in other countries they cost hour payment. :3 That suck but what to do?
If i will get something exclusiv i will let u know :3 U can count me to help.
