Klassic Scorpion Statue (from MK) by PCSC

This just went up for sale a few minutes ago. Scorpion is the second in the new Klassic line of MK statues by Pop Culture Shock Collectibles; with Reptile being the first statue that was sold. Reptile is sold out FYI.

There are 2 versions of Klassic Scorpion available: the regular version, and the Sideshow exclusive (SS EX) version.

The SS EX version includes a switch-out masked skull portrait as well as a set of interchangeable arms.

The regular version is slightly cheaper but lacks the aforementioned SS EX extras.

The SS EX is limited to 200 pieces while the regular version is limited to 350.

Me too. It's almost sold out. This will go up in value instantly. I bet we see them on eBay for double retail very soon.


Edit: it's actually already sold out. Wowzers. This easily just doubled in value.

I actually have both Reptile and Scorpion on preorder now. Guess I'm going all-in on this Klassic line.

I was on 2 minds about collecting the Klassic line because I didn't get Reptile.. But I couldn't let up on Scorpion after seeing him. Now I'm going to feel incomplete until I manage to get hold of a Reptile statue..

I'm sure Reptile will show up on eBay sooner or later. Expect to pay through the nose though.

I'm actually 3 for 3 on PCS EXs so far. I got Reptile, Chun Li, and Sagat. It's like I hit the damn lottery!

I'm not interested in Street Fighter though so that saves me some trouble and lots of cash. But Mortal Kombat, I'm all in.. I'm hearing Sub Zero is next for the Klassic line? Who do you reckon will be after that? Noob Saibot?

No exact release date on Reptile just yet. All we know right now is that it's slated for a q1 2013 release. Delays are pretty common though. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't start shipping until May or maybe even summer 2013.

I believe that Jerry already confirmed that a female character comes after Sub-Zero. Maybe Mileena?

I better keep some cash ready just in case.. Yea maybe a lady. But I'll stick to the klassic male ninjas from PCS for now. I also have Mortal Kombat statues from Syco Collectibles, so will not be getting everything PCS throws out. Will need to choose wisely..

What do you reckon of the price? Will any future Reptiles be around that price, IF there are any?

I really have no idea. Time will tell, I suppose. I wouldn't be surprised to see it sell for that price; but I also wouldn't be surprised to see it sell for far less; say $800 or so.

Yea to be honest, you are most probably right. I guess I just dont want to admit it will go for that. Hope I can find something cheaper though

No, that's not it. That's a different line of MK statues.
There are two lines made by Pop Culture Shock: the Klassic line, and the modern line.
Kitana is part of the modern line.

Auction ended at $620.. Did it sell or buyer ended it early? Damn, that's still a very steep price..
