It's not that it took forever to get here, it's more the fact that they told customers it would ship August last year, yet they are only shipping now, and retail customers are still kept in the dark. Just piss-poor customer service really. The figure ain't perfect either. It does have flaws, and for $500 and a 3 year wait, it really should be perfect. I ordered mine from Sideshow, so it's not a big deal to me as I didn't pay for it a year in advance, but honestly, if I had ordered from Bambaland like you guys I'd be pissed if some company had been sitting on my money for a year collecting interest and BS about the release date of the product.
