He sure didn't, many of these people winning the contests are completely unaware of video game collecting and severely underestimate the worth of what they've won. This was the case with me when I won my R* Key to liberty city, I lost it, thinking it was worthless!
Now I see it going on ebay for over $80. The same situation arose with the UC2 fortune hunter, someone I know scored one for under $150.
But yeah, NICE pickup for only $90! I bid $150 in a recent auction but lost
