If your doing priority mail, that is about right for anything 1-2 pounds.
If your doing first class international it should be under $33
Rule of thumb
Gift sent = First Class - no tracking/no insurance (unless they request for priority)
Goods = Priority Mail - Up to $108 insurance included with the price (MUST!)
