There's no need to hide things from us and announce it a couple of days before you open the pre orders. Learn from Sideshow, announce everything 2-3 months in advance so we have enough time to save money and you don't piss off the fans.

I totally agree with this whole part here. I keep a VERY strict budget, to the point of, I can't just make a random item purchase that I happen to spot on ebay or elsewhere. So a few months notice is very much appreciated by me, as it means that I can try my best to tweak my budget to fit whatever it is, in, and if I can't fit it, then at least I know there was nothing I could do.
But when it's announced a few days prior to going up for order, I can't do anything about it. And then I get pissed because I've missed out (hence why I am
gutted about the signed copies of the Dragon Age book).
