Most definitely! That's the sort of game we would like to see more CE's for!

That is definitely a series which I consider worthy of the CE treatment, regardless of the platform (PlayStation, Xbox, or PC). This is the kind of game PC gamers would be willing to pay OTT for content such as cloth maps, soundtrack, artwork, commemorative coins, and other unique items related to the game which are unique only to that edition. You just have to look towards the World Of Warcraft CE's or Starcraft 2 CE to see the kind of things PC collectors expect

As for pricing - I agree with Gurps above. I approved of the Emily The Strange price, and felt it was fair, especially considering that it was very limited and also numbered. Even the Amazon price is fair, but I don't think I would want to pay more than that for a DS game. I think generally speaking, between £49.99-£79.99 is average price for CE's, provided the contents are worth the difference in price. If they're unique bonuses, then all the better!

A few points we regularly discuss here on CE.O regarding CE's are:

1) Are the contents unique to this edition?

If the contents can only be obtained in the CE, then that is always a plus selling point. If it's just a bunch of merch which can be bought separately, then that's not so appealing

2) Is it limited & numbered?

As you have probably noticed by now, we most certainly jump on anything which we can determine a finite number of editions, and prefer if they are numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity

3) Unique packaging

A lot of exceptional CE's in the last few years have been ruined by the fact that they include the regular retail copy of the game (Eg, Bioshock 2 CE). It feels as if they dropped the ball right at the goal post. However, a few have gone that extra distance to create unique packaging for the game disc as well as the other contents (such as the American Castlevania: Lord Of Shadows CE). Unique disc packaging (Ie, not a cardboard sleeve!) is always welcomed!
