I have never taken trophies seriously... well not enough to platinum games and such. I still am glad I did not as it seems to take me out of the experience when I am thinking if things to get trophies for.
Funny thing is when I start looking at trophies while playing is when I am about to stop play (means I am done with the game and am getting bored).
As Jengo said it only the hardcore will be able to bid... same goes with that top 1% program Sony started.
It would have been nice if they gave people the option to gift theirs to their friends so even norms would have a chance. I have like 1,500 bronze... maybe if I melt them down I can get 500 golds?
