The Playstation exclusive HD collections seem to be a single case, but the multiplatforms such as Mass Effect Trilogy (although that wasn't a HD release I don't think, since they're all current-gen?) came in a multi-case box.
If I see a cheap PS3 copy of the Mass Effect collection, I will let you know
