Interest in Game Industry Swag In Grab Bag Form?
Q: Is there any interest in purchasing 10-15 lbs "mystery" boxes of game industry swag? As I mentioned in my introductory post, I've been in the U.S. games press for the last 13 years so I've compiled a large collection of swag from review/preview code mailings, trade shows, and press events. In trying to come up with a reasonable price, I was thinking of $35 for the 8-12 lbs with the guarantee you'd get the following:
-1 USB Stick of 2GB or higher
-1 never-worn t-shirt
-1 item from 2005 or earlier (the majority of the items would be after 2005)
You wouldn't go into it blind as with each box I list, I'll disclose one notable item that would be in each box. For example:
-The Sleeping Dogs Flask Box
-The Fist of The Northstar Alarm Clock Box
-Muramusa Rebirth Fan Box
-Atlus Artbook Box
-Forza Motorsport Press Kit Box
After adding each item, I'll stuff a USPS Priority Mail Box with other swag until I reach 8-12 lbs.
