Also tried the gameplay for myself. Its rather similar to Heavy Rain, but not quite. There will be no QTE eg multiple button presses, but rather, if you are controlling Jolie, you move with L stick, and perform actions with a single direction push of the right stick. Occasionally you need to shake the dualshock for certain actions. When activating Aidan, you basically move both sticks in certain directions depending on situation.

There will be multiple paths (and presumably multiple endings). One big difference between Heavy Rain and Beyond is that in Beyond, each sequence will be unique and nothing is repeated. There will be varying environments with different sizes, some can be huge and you have quite some freedom to explore.
iOS and Android touch devices are supported for the first time in a video game console, replacing the controller fully. Yes, you can play the full game with a touch device, but you have to download an app first.
