Also you've got to consider other CEs aswell. Think of The Witcher 2 CE, that had tons of high quality content, the art book was top-notch, the geralt head wasn't made from cheap plastic like this dragon, making of dvd, soundtrack, playing cards, papercraft, dlc, , replica coin, pamphlet and cursed coin, dice set, map and even some stickers not to mention a bloody brilliant RPG. All that for £65, then when i see the Skyrim CE for £90 in the US let alone £130 in UK how can i even start to think the price is at-all justified?
The Duke Nukem Forever CE was also dirt cheap for CE, i paid £40 for it (The same price as a standard edition console game)

The price difference between US and EU/AU is definitely upsetting. If I lived in the UK or Europe I'd be furious. I don't. I guess that makes my point of view less concerning. There really is nothing I can say that will justify the price DIFFERENCE in Euros. It's just not fair. 150$ US I think may be fair as long as the artbook is of high quality (like I stated it should be) and the statue is highly detailed, even being PVC.

Did you read Gemini's "unboxing" review of the Survival Edition? His review really summed up exactly how I feel about it. We all know the clock was very poor quality, but it was not the clock or even the CE included in the box that made it so special. What made it special, setting it apart, was the design of the packaging. From the outer package to the clock's personal box inside, the design was so perfectly in sync with the atmosphere, style and theme of the game.
This made it very desirable to fans, despite the poor quality of the clock (which mind you most collector's would NOT try to "use", let alone take out of the package). The Collector's edition itself inside the lunch box was one of the best designed collectible editions I've seen. The lunch box was gorgeous and the bobblehead absolutely perfect; in sync again with the game itself (bobbleheads in game, pipboy character theme throughout game).
I have faith, after the great design quality of the packaging for both Fallout 3 and New Vegas, that this Skyrim CE will be excellent. Maybe not so much in the quality of the statue, but hopefully in the design of the packaging, which to me, is even more important for a Collector since so many of us don't even want to open collector editions, and would rather display them safely and proudly sealed.
