Just got off the phone with parcelforce which is where the packet is.

the customs charge is ?68 which is about $110

so all in all i will have payed

$300 for the statue
$85 for postage
$110 for customs.


also just done some reading and it seems im wrong and customs was always going to be an issue. ah well you live and learn i guess.
