My Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition Story
I got one of these a couple years ago now on eBay and I paid over 800$ for it in an auction. It was sealed, brand new. For many months I did not open it (and I never intended to!) but finally I figured, since I was going to keep this forever (I would never dare sell it) I wanted to look inside to make sure everything was there (and I wasn't ripped off). Sure enough when I opened it, turned out that everything was there (and all mint) except the interal spacers inside the box were damaged pretty bad (squished in, ripped) from obviously being shipped and handled roughly. Outer box was perfect, this was inside (due to things moving around).
Sufficed to say I was very sad and disappointed. However, I meticulously repaired the damage inside the box and am very proud of my work! I'd be happy to keep it how it is now for the rest of my life. Though I wouldn't mind a VG certified 9.0 or above copy sealed in glass! lol Dead Space is the greatest game I ever played. Period.
