Its good reading. I think it complimented with the DLC more than the main game. I never played the dlc but watched pewdiepie played it since I don't wanna pay and don't have time to play.
I did it in chronological backwards from playing the main game, watched the DLC then read the comic and I must say, it didn't spoiled the whole experience.
but I would play the main game first if you don't know the ending yet. but if you do know, you choose what to do first
