Are you really saying you mostly collect things just so other will know you have them? It just sounded that way.
I think most of us collect because we love the franchise and the items of that franchise we collect for. Showing the items off is a bonus... and we only do it to share our passion with others who share the same passion and can appreciate the items like we do. There is always a small part of it being "look at what I got and you don't" with all of us... some of us are far worse then others though. 
Very true... we all need to curb our collecting form time to time for various reasons. Some of us even sell parts of our collections. |
