Sizes are always a result of artist opinion, our opinion and what a digital file could be printed at before you get quality degradation...
For Okami, for which the concept art is a mix between water color and digital art our main guideline was: "how large did the artist intend the final work to be" and whether or not a larger size adds to extra impact of the work. In our humble opinion Path of Heaven and Seeking the Celestial Brush Gods were the only ones benefitting a bigger size and Agata Forest, Kamiki Village & Fighting Orochi are now a nice set of equal size.
But take into account that a print which is 35 x 50 + white margin plus matte can easily become a 50 x 65 framed. Which is relatively large for most houses.
