SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS, IN COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP WITH UBISOFT® AND MCFARLANE, TAKE THE FIELD FOR THE FIRST EVER VIDEO GAMER NIGHT

Limited-edition Giants-themed Assassin’s Creed® Unityfigure available with Special Event ticket package

SAN FRANCISCO — August 6, 2014 — Ubisoft and McFarlane Toys are proud community partners and participants of the San Francisco Giants’ first ever Video Gamer Night at AT&T Park on September 10. This special event welcomes gamers to attend a Giants game versus the Arizona Diamondbacks, and includes admission to the Video Gamer Night pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 pm, as well as an exclusive limited-edition Giants-themed Assassin’s Creed figure from Todd McFarlane.

Legendary Artist and baseball fan, Todd McFarlane and McFarlane Toys created this limited-edition San Francisco Giants themed figure of Arno, the main character from the latest installment in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Unity. The figure includes the Giants’ signature orange and black themed colors as well as a bat and helmet.

Assassin’s Creed Unity creators, Todd McFarlane and other special guests in the video game community will be on-hand to participate in a special Q&A panel moderated by IGN’s Naomi Kyle during the pre-game event.

“As long time residents of San Francisco, blocks away from AT&T park, we could not be happier to participate in what we know will be a unique night for gamers and Giants fans,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing, Ubisoft. “Todd McFarlane is the perfect artist, with his passion for Assassin’s Creed and baseball, to incorporate the Giants’ spirit with our newest Assassin for a one-of-a-kind collectible.”

“Growing up in the Bay Area, watching baseball was my favorite thing in the world and Giants’ Bobby Bonds was my favorite player,” said Todd McFarlane, McFarlane Toys founder and creative force. “I am excited to be a part of the Giants’ unique, fun event that brings together two of my favorite things: video games and baseball.”
