I understand these companies have a business to run, but all to often it's at the expense of the consumer.
Look at what's happening to Tomb Raider. MS is having the game delayed on other platforms to help push XBone sales.
Will it help line their pockets? Possibly. But I don't find it beneficial to the industry as a whole. And I feel that way whether MS does it, Sony does it, or Nintendo does it.
AT the end of the day money talks, and the money is saying "give our company more money by sacrificing the consumers experience." If MS wants to have incentives for purchasing the game on their console, then do it independently from the studio themselves. What I mean is add things in addition but separately from the CE.
This announcement is worse because it follows on the heels of the Tomb Raider announced delay.
The point is that I don't agree with the way MS does their business. Much like I was pissed that EA bought the rights to the NFL.
I choose to not support this decision even if others don't care. I don't expect everyone to agree.
