But do they ever release exclusive CE's at those events or just exclusive merch? I've never heard of them doing a CE exclusive to an event like that, and I know for a fact no Zelda CE's have ever been released like that. I don't get bothered by the little SWAG knickknacks they always have at those places. I do collect some Zelda merch if it's interesting enough but the most important part of my collection is the games, especially the CE's, and I really only collect USA region. |
I do not know the history of event exclusive CE's but wish they'd release more even if it's something I might not be able to attend. I'd never wish something not exist just because I can't attend the event (what's the point?). If I decide not to buy it on the aftermarket I'd still be in the exact same position as it never being made and I want more actual limited edition games released instead of just slapping limited on the box, charging double the price, and producing and endless amount. Why people think this release is "screwing over the real fans/collectors" is beyond my understanding.
I hope you are able to get one and that someone on here helps you out. You should probably also mention you can help out with PAX in your WTB thread... just a thought (and I'm sure if it was a PAX exclusive you wouldn't bitch at all). If you ever need help with an online release or something from the DC area let me know and I'd be happy to help out.
