I've also thought about buying an art piece, specifically: http://www.gallerynucleus.com/detail/17855 - but I read alot yesterday about the printing method which is "Giclee", and while some says it is far better than regular prints, some says it is nothing more than an "overpriced poster". (kinda like when you're paying more for "lingerie" rather than "underwear").
Does anyone know much about Giclee, or have Giclee prints themselves?

Calling a giclee an overpriced poster is just like saying a painting is an overpriced drawing. It just doesn't make sense and truly is not comparable. The types of ink, type, and thickness of the paper all represent the quality of the piece. Just like the types of paint and medium vary in a painting.
Now for my own personal opinion on the Naughty Dog pieces, I have no interest in buying a one off giclee that is framed because there is simply no guarantee the piece couldn't be easily re-printed in the same form in the future. That is unless of course Gallery Nucleus has a CoA stating otherwise. With paintings and drawings you know you are getting the only one with no concern of reproduction.
This provides a good overview of a giclee:
