I paid 50€ for the MK8 steel (in very good condition) including the game. Was a fair deal because I haven't had the game before.
And as you say, the main problem is that all the US collectors only need the steel. But as the game disc comes within the steel you will be sitting on a loose disc. :/
Unfortunately a sealed steelbook edition costs 70-80€ atm. Damn you, regionlock!
