I really hate to miss the core plot of the story. Like the DLC in one of it that actually explains some story that leads to the next. I forgot which one, I think between brotherhood and revelations?
I feel like playing rogue before unity but I don't want to miss out on Unity and get random spoilers

I understand what you are saying and I have no proof to the contrary as I don't have rogue and have yet to finish unity
But I believe that rogue tells the templar story from abstergo's point of view and that unity tells the templar story from the assassin point of view
