My Best Buy had the names on the reserved copies too, and the manager said they hadn't sold any copies to anyone without a preorder, it was just that they had been shorted on the supply side. And I can't speak for other Best Buys, but this one was shorted by exactly the number of orders that had been placed in-store (like mine were). There had been 16 preorders placed---6 in-store and 10 online for in-store pickup---and they only got in 10 copies.
Took me at least 35 minutes too but it was far from a simple transaction, that's for sure.
So, what happened, did they end up charging you for the standard edition instead of the Bundle?
Also, don't forget to register the PIN on Club Nintendo to get the SSB soundtrack bud.
