Yes... GAME's packaging is pretty bad, most of the time. Bought a few times from them, and ha nightmares too. Like what you said, it is better to have a UK member to forward it to you.
Whereas for TreeHouse... I too sent an email to them about my Dragon Age Art Book. To TreeHouse's defense, typically they do a good job in packaging. But this time the way that they pack the Dragon Age LE art book fails hard.
I received mine in a box, so i thought great job. Then i noticed on one side of the box was torn up. What TreeHouse did was placing this huge heavy book, into a box that is too small to fit the book....
