I like it when we get editions that are limited but it comes with a bad side too, like you said scalpers and not being able to get one. In truth though scalpers are a good thing to have to blame but I doubt they buy enough to effect sell out times but much really. I mean if someone was few hours too late on getting their pre-order I doubt it would have made a difference (especially when they sell out instantly like Batmobile and Claptrap editions did). Also the scalper does give a chance for others to own it as if they were people who wanted to keep them there would not be any chance to own one after they sell out, and I guess you could say they raise the value of your purchase too. But it is super frustrating when you miss out on an edition and then see them for sale on eBay for twice as much. Truth is a lot of people here do it, they just do not admit it (almost everyone here has done it at least once)... I do not blame them as there is nothing wrong with buying something to sell and then try and make the one you keep cheaper, it is capitalism (supply and demand, yadda yadda).
I think we should all if we get to a pre-order that might be rare we should grab a couple in case for other members. I got lucky and someone here got me a Batmobile Edition as i missed that. I hope I can get one here in the US though as i know it will be expensive to import.

Yeah you're right. I got an extra Batmobile edition as well and sold for the original price to a member here. (Went up to $300+ as the member isn't in the US, the shipping and tax from Amazon is crazy). I usually pre-order every rare CE I can so I won't regret anything. If I don't want it I'll sell it here for the original price. If no one here wants it I'll sell it on eBay and make some money.
