Yikes! Rough time with statues.
At least the sellers were quick to refund the money (or most of it, anyway) and you didn't have to go through the lengthy open case process.
I am curious what kind of glue you use to repair statues/figures that are plastic. I've found superglue just melts plastics and isn't useful at all.
