Seems like the better collectible to me.

It has a better chance to hold or increase in value on the aftermarket.

Therefore, whilst I know it's somewhat expensive, I'm not losing money should I decide to sell it down the line.
It becomes a pleasurable investment of sorts.

That's where my focus would be rather than breaking down manufacturing costs.

But that's just me.
Will I enjoy it?
Will it hold or increase in value?
Will it feel like a desirable limited CE?
What's the significance of the extra pieces? E.g. I'm interested in the the role of Big Ben in the game and hence the significance as a statue.
Stuff like that....

Charging Cross is available in the States and Worldwide and lacks the numbered lithographs. It's everywhere. It's ultimately 2nd best in the CE line up no matter how you try to rationalize it.

But we l have our own criteria for limited collectibles. So if you like Charing Cross and it meets your criteria, get it!
If you think Big Ben is a con, don't get it.
But I think the differences are significant enough to warrant some of us choosing Big Ben.

I just hope the money justifies the quality of the items in the Big Ben edition.

Its a gamble, but based on Unity I am hesitant. Unfortunately the main thing I remember about Unity was the poor performance on release. Funnily enough the quality of the game made me value the collectibles less, even though the game got fixed.

Buying collectible editions should not be a decision based on future resale value, that's just silly and collecting for the sake of collecting. Buying them should be based on the quality of the game and the franchise as a whole, how close you relate and feel about the rich storyline of the characters and how the collectibles evoke memories of the game.

If you're buying based on scarcity of the game edition then you're simply hoarding items by attaching monetary value to them rather than items you have an emotional connection to.

If you're overlooking manufacturing costs altogether, then you're simply propagating the issue of gaming companies inflating prices while reducing quality and expecting the same profits. That's wrong.
