Good news, hopefully it will come to consoles.
It's a good idea about the PS4's zoom feature too, forgot it had that, enabled it there and whilst it isn't perfect by a long way, it's helping with loot/menus.
(Also with being able to shortcut the accessibility features to holding the home button I'm having a bit of fun seeing what some stuff looks like with inverted colours enabled.)
