You said tarnished the game for you so far... a game you have not played is all I was getting at
But as I said I see what you are saying and used to let this happen to me as well (it is hard not to).
Luckily for the most part I do not get upset with game news type things anymore... I do not let things like this get me too upset (at least for long) and do not equate things like CEs to my gameplay experience.
Publishers are to blame for most things that go wrong in games... devs always just try to make the best game they can with what the publisher's give them.
I feel bad for Rocksteady as well. The people who let this bug them and are not as knowledgeable as you are will hold it against them.
