While I try to respect both sides of an opinion or argument, I only expect the next person, in this case Vlad, to also respect both sides. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, Vlad has his and is welcome to it, I don't think less of him because his way of thinking is at the far end of one spectrum and my belief is at the end of the spectrum, but would only expect the same courtesy in return which he demonstrated in his later posts. I don't know him, nor does he know me, but if I am looked down upon because I believe in capitalism and profits, so be it, I don't think any less of him if he wants to sell his stuff for what he paid to appease others more power to him.

When a person is young they are told to work hard and make something of themselves, to become successful, and with success should come reward. The problem is in society under the liberal way of thinking is success is bad and evil, that everyone should benefit off the backs of those who work hard to succeed. I don't subscribe to that philosophy. Just because I may work very hard doesn't mean the person who sits back and does nothing deserves the same amount of reward. How anyone can agree with that thinking is beyond baffling. It's a simply philosophy but some tend to skew it out of control.

Vlad had made the case of free university/schooling, free medication, free this, free that. What people don't seem to realize is there is no such thing as "free". Everyone pays for it via higher taxes and while one person may be just fine with paying higher taxes, others are not fine with it. Take into consideration healthcare, particular here in the USA. We now have a disaster called Obamacare, and the people were given all these false promises regarding how it would work. If it was so great, why aren't our politicians under Obamacare? They aren't. They all have specialized healthcare that is different from us "common" folks. That is the same as someone saying "Here drink this it's good for you" but when asked if those who are giving it out are drinking it, their answer is "No, we have something better". Now, for those who feel the plight of the common man, how is that above statement fair? What's good for me, isn't good for you? and vice versa?

At the end of the day bigger Government isn't the solution, it's the problem. It is unfortunate that politics and religion keep people separated. Politicians on both sides of the aisle want us all to live in fear, to have us fight amongst ourselves when they pretend to fight against each other, when in reality most of them are friends with one another and corrupt. Personally I am all for term limits on our senators, and supreme court judges, etc. If a President can only sit for four years and run one more time for another four years, that should apply to judges and senators as well. No lifetime of pay either, once they do their time, they go back to private life, no specialize healthcare for them either. Once this day comes, trust me, you will see our so called politicians who are doing this "for their country and society to help" jump ship very fast.

As another person pointed out, look at all the people who are selling items for above retail price on the for sale forums. Are they wrong in doing so? Absolutely not, more power to them. If people want to give everything away at their cost because it will make them feel good inside, that is fine, that is their CHOICE to do so. If others don't want to, and they want to sell for a profit, that is their CHOICE as well.
