Yeah it is getting bad. I tihnk Sony felty they needed somethign liek this when MS got Titanfall and Tomb Raider.

It doesn't matter to me that TR is timed, if it was a month or two, fair enough, it sucks but I could dodge spoilers and the desire to play until then but a year is taking the absolute piss. This one seems strange, I too hadn't heard anything about it being PS4 exclusive until this thread to be honest.
I seriously hope the way these two are don't become the new norm, it's bad for everyone in the end.

It will not be the norm for 90+ %. Really it is just because of the time period of the new consoles trying to sell and get the best foothold/base possible. It should taper off on the big title games.
