Honestly, I know what you are going through by adding the consoles to the display. I had to add another separate shelf for my Halo collection (check my last update on my intro page to see what I mean if you haven't already). Depending on how much you're condensing, you could do the same. If not, my opinion would be to either add the consoles to the ends so it looks symmetrical or you can stack them on one side on top of each other since they aren't being used, lol. I wouldn't think stacking them would create any damage as long as you're not moving them around a lot. I can't remember but I think there are rubber feet on the bottom of the Xbox Ones, not sure. I hope I understood your question.

I don't know if I want to add more shelving because IKEA has changed the outer dimensions of the unit I use recently. :\
I think I might just leave the collectible Xbox Ones boxed and maybe just display the boxes. Not sure yet.
