Yeah, was just talking to someone last night about that. Still have NO clue why Nintendo did that -- the boxes are still pretty much about the same size and the cost of the charger couldn't have been that much more than the marketing costs of having to label everything with 15 red warning labels that a charger is not included, especially when they sell the charger for like ~$10?!
Really baffling that they didn't at least include a digital code or pre-installed game as well. I guess I can understand that only for the fact that people who would purchase that FE 3DSXL probably would also purchase the game separately. And truthfully, I never use the digital codes anyway so no big deal to me, but just seems odd that they wouldn't charge people for it anyway?
I'm just lucky that the first ds/3ds I purchased was the ALBW one which had a charger because the last 2 haven't! God forbid I wanted to play two of them at the same time though? It'd kind of be like getting a new iPhone without a charger - sure most people probably have a charger already, but doesn't mean they don't want another one and also what about all the other people who aren't in the majority?
