That's a strange one - I've not personally heard of it before but makes me want to check mine out again as its not assembled at the moment....
Have you checked carefully to make sure the water has never broken and been glued back in place? I know of a couple of these that got broken on original shipping
If it was it could be just very slightly out of place....
