I would perhaps, if I had an Xbox One, but not for the FF series though, and other particular franchises.

Under xtreme sales circumstances I'd turn, but I would prefer not to triple dip as is with multiple SE editions (as always since FF13).
To me, the statue for this is not too special, firstly, it's a Play-Arts figurine. Which believe will be available to buy on its own at a later stage because the other three guys in their party are available for preorder already.
I do hope they make more of this edition, I just want to have it. Even if it's an un-numbered edition it won't bother me. Didn't that happen for Borderlands 2 Ultimate Loot Chest Edition?
And really? 30,000 units to cover a massive franchise expanding almost 30 years?? They released more for Crisis Core: FFVII on PSP (77,000)!!
That was a different time, and today there are still long time fans no matter what crappy FF game they release unto us poor sods.
Plus, many have waited ten long years for this release since it was announced! I know it's gone through a lot of changes, but the demand for it has been still quite high imo.
We (FF fans and collectors) deserve far more than what they've offered so far! I don't even care if they release a CE without the figurine. It's mainly the other contents that I would mainly want as I probably wouldn't complete the figuring set. Who know how many they're release later.
I am glad I got the summons figures for FFXIII though

Yeah, most widely released CE's do have a branded box slip covers, apart from maybe obscure editions from deep within Poland or some other.
