Not just a rumor, this thing really is heavy. To double box over the original shipping box just makes sense. It would of prevented any marks etc. Still, I'm not going to whine over it, it looks awesome and ended up setting me back only $416 USD including 2 day global shipping. Well worth it.

... mine was too sealed with Stickers, but they were easy to remove... it was also just in the original shipping box (it hat Stickers on it with the checkingdate and a field for a signature).... yes is freaking heavy right XD!
