Oh well, that's how it goes sometimes and at least more of you can avoid scalpers (hopefully)!

I agree 100%. I find it annoying when companies say they will make a certain number and then either seeing a chance to make more money or caving to people begging they produce more. If one of your advertising bullet points is the limited number produced, then just changing it is a slap to those who purchased the initial batch. Some buy only because they love a series, but many factor the relative rarity of it into their purchase.
I am consistent in that as well - even if I am the one who misses a window to buy something or can't find something that is not available in my region, that is just part of it. Some people want to see things like this made in mass quantity and then you find them in discount bins like most of the Halo or CoD crap due to the market being saturated.
In this case, Square should of already had measures in place to stop the scalpers, but aside from fixing that oversight, 30000 should of been it.
Sometimes we just have to put on our big boy pants and realize we may not get our way. Instead, you find people over the internet who hold their virtual breath and stamp their feet to get what they feel they deserved since obviously they were slighted by missing out as THEY are surely the biggest fan in the world.
Also, get off my grass!
